Southern California athletes vie for title
Twenty-five athletes from Southern California will compete for supremacy in the inaugural Ultimate Boarder Competition.
Snowboarding will kickoff the action on April 13 at Squaw Valley. Surf practice will be April 15. Surfing will take place April 16-18. Skateboarding will wrap up the event on April 19 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Skateboarding will run from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. An awards ceremony and concert will cap the day.
Ryan Wichert of Thousand Oaks specializes in snowboarding. Andrew Jones and Jake Asdel of Ventura are skateboarders. Ventura's Wes Matweyew and Guy Quezada are surfers.

Wow! Sounds pretty cool. Will he compete in all three?
The competition is to see who is the "ultimate boarder" the best at all three sports, so you compete inall three. It's a triathalon of board sports.
